This page has been created for Kerry Maidwell, who at 14 has earned the highest score (224pts) in our points trophies.   She won best Junior & Best Puppy 2008, you can see her picture on our home page.

Kerry is going to blog after every show, to let the Pyrie world know how she and Alys are getting on.

Kerry won 1st in her Post Graduate Class at Crufts 2009, she beat 11 other Bitches. Here is the picture of her after winning the Class.

Then on the 28th of March 2009 Kerry was presented by the PMDC of Scotland Club, a certificate and small trophy for getting the most points for over 20 years!   That day she also won The Child Handling, Best Bitch & Best Reserve in Show.  Here is a picture of her & Alys winning most of the Silverware that day!       Well done Kerry & Alys.

SUNDAY 12TH APRIL 2009

Hi Everyone, Happy Easter,

Today at The Consett Canine Society Open Show, myself and Alys done pretty well.   Alys got Best of Breed and Group 4, we also entered into the handling class and won Best Junior Handler.   Alys will be enjoying a nice Easter treat tonite!

MONDAY 13TH APRIL 2009

Hi All,

Today we attended The North of England Pyrenean Mountain Dog Club, Open Show, me & Alys got 2nd in Post Graduate and 1st in Limit.   We also won the older Junior Handling Class.   We were really happy with our results, we also got 2 more points trophies, from The North of England Pyrenean Mountain Dog Club, one for Best Puppy and one for Best Bitch.  Alys enjoyed a good run around when she got home, she found it a great excuse to get dirty.

SUNDAY 19TH APRIL 2009

Hi,

On Sunday 19th of April we went to Sunderland Open Show and won BOB and Group 3, which we were very happy about.  It was nice to get to show outside as it was a lovely day, and we all got a chance to work on our tans!

SUNDAY 17TH MAY 2009

Hi,

We were at the Scottish Kennel Club Champ Show today, myself & Alys came 2nd in Post Graduate, which we were pleased at.   I also went into the Challenge with Wendy Holmes Bitch Lisjovia Airwaves Lavia, who is Aly's litter sister, and we won the RCC, we were all well chuffed.  It was a great day had by us all.

SUNDAY 21ST JUNE 2009

Hi Everyone,

We were at Border Union Championship Show in Kelso, Alys got a 1st in Post Graduate, she also won her 1st RCC that day, her sister Lisjovia Airwaves Lavia won the Bitch CC & Best of Breed, so it was a good day for club Lisjovia, there were a few tears that day.   I also took Lavia into the Pastoral Group, there were loads of show friends watching us, when I went into the ring there was a great big cheer, unfortunatley we never got anywhere, but it was an awesome experience!

SUNDAY 12TH JULY 2009

Hi All,

Last week me and Alys got BOB and group 4, on both days of showing, we were really pleased!   At East of England Show Alys got 2nd in Post Graduate and also got 2nd in the Special Beginners Stakes and won £80.00!  I also handled Lavia in the Special Beginners Stakes at Blackpool and got 4th.   We don't have any shows at the weekend, so me and Alys can have the weekend off, it will give her a chance to get really dirty!

SUNDAY 9TH AUGUST 2009

Hi All,

Alys now officially has her Show Certificate of Merit, which we were all pleased with, she also received her stud number, after getting RCC at Border Union.   We don't have any shows now for 3 weeks! I am going away to Dubai a week on Thursday and the Monday after we come back we have a Limit Show, meanwhile Alys will be having a nice rest and having a good play about with Lavia, Haydn and Vienna, and no doubt getting dirty as always!

TUESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2009

Hi All,

Bank Holiday Monday saw us at North & South Shields Limit Show.   Alys got Best of Breed and she was also shortlisted in the Best in Show, which pleased me.  We have 2 shows coming up at the weekend, City of Birmingham Champ Show on Saturday &  Sunday we are at Wolsingham Agricultural Show, I will let you know soon of our results!

Last weekend at the City of Birmingham Show, me & Alys got 2nd in Post Graduate, out of a big class, then next day we got BOB at Wolsngham Agricultural Show.  So it was a good weekend for both of us.
